Accelerated Introduction to SQL
Intensive hands-on introduction to standard SQL programming. Data manipulation, queries, data modification. Construction of tables, indexes and views. Constraints, etc. Can be taught using most major SQL platforms. No prior knowledge of SQL is assumed, although students should have some exposure to programming and/or use of other query systems (including Access).

Vendor-specific versions of this class are available. See SQL202 for Microsoft SQL Server, SQL201W for MySQL and SQL212 for Oracle.

1 and 1/2 days

Introduction to SQL Data Retrieval
Accelerated introduction to standard SQL programming with focus on retrieval and reporting: data retrieval, filtering data, calculations, summarization and grouping, etc. Same as first two modules of SQL200. Can be taught using MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle. Students will create their own SQL script library in this course which they can take with them. No prior knowledge of SQL is assumed, although students should have some exposure to programming and/or use of other query systems (including Access). The next class in sequence is SQL302s Intermediate SQL Queries Using SQL Server

Accelerated Introduction to SQL Using Microsoft SQL Server I
Intensive 1 and 1/2 day, hands-on introduction to SQL programming using Microsoft SQL Server (Transact SQL). Covers data manipulation, queries, data modification, tables, indexes, views constraints, etc. No prior knowledge of SQL is assumed, although students should have some exposure to programming and/or use of other query systems (including Access). The next class in sequence is SQL302 Intermediate SQL Using SQL Server

Accelerated Introduction to SQL Queries using SQL Server
Introduction to SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server. Intensive, hands-on SQL class focusing on SQL data retrieval. Same as first two modules of SQL202. This course is ideal for business analysts looking to acquire SQL skills.

Accelerated Introduction to SQL Using Microsoft SQL Server II
Introduction to Transact SQL specic constructs used in Microsoft SQL Server environments. Covers triggers, functions, variables, etc. Expansion to full day under development. Students should have taken the full Introduction to SQL or have equivalent experience.

1/2 Day

Intermediate SQL Using Microsoft SQL Server
Intermediate SQL class. Covers intermediate level joins, subqueries, with clause, common table expressions, window (row) functions, delete and update from. Students should have taken the full Introduction to SQL or have equivalent experience.

1 1/2 days

Intermediate SQL Queries Using Microsoft SQL Server
Intermediate SQL class. Same as first two modules of SQL302. Covers intermediate level joins, subqueries, with clause, common table expressions, window (row) functions. Students should have taken Introduction to SQL Queries or have equivalent experience.

Accelerated Introduction to SQL Using MySQL
Intensive 1 and 1/2 day, hands-on introduction to SQL programming using MySQL. Covers data manipulation, queries, data modification, tables, indexes, views constraints, etc. No prior knowledge of SQL is assumed, although students should have some exposure to programming and/or use of other query systems (including Access).

Accelerated Introduction to SQL Queries using MySQL
Introduction to SQL queries using MySQL. Intensive, hands-on SQL class focusing on SQL data retrieval. Same as first two modules of SQL201W.

1 day

Accelerated Introduction to SQL Using Oracle I
1 and 1/2 day introduction to Oracle SQL (PL/SQL) used in the Oracle Database. Intensive, hands-on course custom designed for analysts and power users. Same material as SQL200 but taught in an Oracle environment. Topics include data retrieval and manipulation, modifying data and creating tables and views. Uses the SQL Plus Query tool and the new Oracle SQL Developer.

1 and 1/2 days

Introduction to SQL Queries using Oracle
Introduction to SQL queries using Oracle. Intensive, hands-on SQL class focusing on SQL data retrieval. Same as first two modules of SQL212. This course is ideal for business analysts looking to acquire SQL skills.

1 day

Access SQL & Query Design
Introductory Access SQL Programming course using MS Access. Also covers using the MS Access Query Designer. Students will gain a thourough introduction to designing and implementing MS Access queries using Access's JET SQL in this unique course. Can be taught with SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle as the back-end. A basic knowledge of MS Access and query concepts is assumed.
