Synopsis: Build on your Beginning Excel skills with this intermediate class. Covers using functions and lists and analyzing data. Provides a solid introduction to charts and pivot tables. When taken on a private basis, class content can be tailored to your needs. Students should have taken Microsoft Excel Part 1 or have equivalent experience. The next class in sequence is Microsoft Excel Part 3.
Formats: Private groups (min. 3 students) at your facility only.
Scheduling: Classes can be scheduled to suit your group's convenience in as little as 2 to 3 weeks.
Group Discounts: 2-4 students 20%, 5-8 30%, >8 quote

Session 1	Functions and Data	3.0 Hours
	Working with functions - Work with ranges, use specialized functions, work with logical functions, work with data & time functions, work with text functions Working with lists - Sort data, filter data, query data with database functions, outline and subtotal data Analyzing data - Create and modify tables, apply intermediate conditional formatting, apply advanced conditional formatting
Session 2	Charting and Pivot Tables	3.0 Hours
	Visualizing data with charts - Create charts, modify and format charts, use advanced chart features Using pivot tables and pivot charts - Create a pivot table, analyze pivot table data, present data with pivot charts, filter data by using timelines and slicers

Materials: Student manual, training certificate, access to Logical Operations course website after class.   Location: Classes are normally taught on-site at your facilities or via online Remote Learning.
